Hi, I’m Nicole!

I’m a Vancouver-based educator who leads innovative STEAM and educational technology initiatives and shares my expertise with educators across Canada and internationally. For nearly a decade, I’ve served as a district STEAM and EdTech coach, supporting educators in exploring creative approaches to teaching and learning, from unplugged, hands-on STEAM challenges to artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

I lead K–12 coding initiatives, supporting technology integration, and helping educators incorporate STEAM, design thinking, and digital learning into their teaching. Much of my work involves bringing together educators, technology teams, and district partners to transform ambitious ideas into practical learning experiences.

I believe meaningful learning doesn’t have to be complicated, expensive, or dependent on technology. Sometimes, the best ideas come from everyday materials, a little curiosity, and the willingness to try something new. Other times, emerging technologies open doors to entirely new possibilities. What matters most is choosing the right approach for the learning experience.

Through conferences, workshops, and professional learning opportunities across Canada and internationally, I share insights and practical strategies that educators can confidently apply in their own classrooms. Whether facilitating professional learning or collaborating on large-scale initiatives, my goal is to make complex ideas accessible and inspire meaningful change.
